FIRST HOME BUYERS

If you’re a first home buyer, you may be eligible for a once-off payment from the QLD first home buyers grant for $15,000.

This is an initiative of the State Government to assist first homeowners get into their own home sooner.

Depending on the region you have selected to build your new home, some lenders may allow part or all this payment to go towards your deposit.

To get started it is recommended you first work out a budget, outlining how much you can pay weekly, and how much you need to borrow.
Also work out the deposit required and any other costs that may be involved.

Once you have done this you are ready to see the bank or broker about establishing a loan.
